How to Begin Your AWS Course Journey In 2023

AWS Course

Are you thinking about becoming AWS Course? Or have you already made a decision but are unsure where to begin? This blog will contain my personal story and the actions I took to get started.

I have a non-technical background in architecture, design, and interior design. Technology, on the other hand, was a hobby. After five years of formal study and self-learning, I worked as a platform developer. I worked with teams such as infrastructure, software development, DevOps, security, and so on. Even though I considered myself an expert in my field, comprehending how everything worked together remained challenging. When my former company began to shift to the cloud, I realized it was the ideal time to delve deeper.

Training suggested

I didn’t plan to get a certificate, but the training suggested to prepare for the exams was helpful. I worked through hands on laboratories and learned about networking, analytics, and machine learning areas that were much above the scope of my daily work learning how things function behind the scenes helped me communicate in my peers’ language.

As luck would have it, I accepted an offer from Amazon as a Solution Architect after more than a year of hands-on work and achieving my AWS Course – Associate certification. I am presently coaching enterprises through cloud adoption and cloud solution development. If you want to enhance your career and increase your knowledge, now is a fantastic time to get an AWS Certification.

Which of the following certifications should I pursue?

I am an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner with an active certification. If you are new to the cloud and want a high-level view, it will help you test your knowledge of cloud concepts, the AWS ecosystem, cloud fluency, and core AWS knowledge. It took me one to two months to pass, with seven hours of study per week.

My certification path began with the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate designation. It helped me validate my skills in designing, constructing, and deploying cloud-based apps. If you have some experience working in the cloud but need to know where to begin, I recommend this certification. Also, if you write and deploy cloud-based apps, you should take the AWS Certified Developer Associate test.

System administrators who know operations should get the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate credential. Learn about the AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator Associate exam’s added lab component. After I got all three certifications, I saw that some of the information and ideas were the same. With full-time work, I realized I had to set aside an hour each day for learning. It took me three to four months of study at seven hours per week before I felt comfortable taking these exams.

I just got my AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification, one of the hardest but most-wanted credentials. Professional credentials show that you can build, implement, and evaluate AWS applications while meeting many demanding requirements. There are several correct answers, and you must choose the best one based on the instructions.

It assesses your ability to comprehend the problem and offer an architectural solution. It took me five to six months, with seven hours of study each week. While the AWS Solution Architect – Associate certification isn’t required, I recommend obtaining it before attempting the professional-level certifications.

AWS Specialty-Level Certifications are an excellent approach to building competence in your field of work or experimenting with a new topic. Earlier this year, I completed the AWS Certified Analytics – Specialty certification. Now I can understand the architectural problems my customers are having and help them build new analytics pipelines.

If you want to pursue a specialized certification, please obtain your AWS Solution Architect – Associate certification to ensure a solid understanding of basic AWS concepts. For example, passing the AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification took me three months and seven hours of study per week.

Book, then study for the exam.

I recommend reading the exam guides before preparing for any certification. They provide information regarding the exam topic and a breakdown of the domains covered.

When I begin preparing for the exam, I usually schedule it. However, there are no penalties for rescheduling or canceling the exam up to 24 hours before the exam, providing you the option to reschedule if you are unprepared. In addition, I work backward from the exam date to establish study milestones. More information on what to expect before, during, and after the exam may be found here.
